Integration of Geotechnical and Hydrogelogy Software Applications: South Florida Water Management District ; Developed application to automate the processing of data between disparate systems. The application (VB.NET with MS Access) takes test results from gINT ((Visual C++, SQL Server and GIS) and formats the data as required by MVASKF (Fortran 77). Then automatically runs the MVASKF program and reports results in a customized Excel spreadsheet and user-friendly output.

DBHYDRO Quality Assurance: South Florida Water Management District through Batelle - The objective of the project was to validate data that are not being analyzed by engineers in the Hydrology and Hydraulics Division or QA/QC Section. The task involved compiling a comprehensive listing of all the sites that would be analyzed and reviewed on DBHYDRO. It included creating a matrix of sites that are not being analyzed by engineers in the Hydrology and Hydraulics Division or QA/QC sections. The DBHYDRO Quality Assurance project was designed to provide a systematic review of the hydrologic and meteorologic data residing on DBHYDRO. This project allowed the data to be reviewed by exception using SQL scripts, based on the Division's business rules for data processing. This process also tagged data that fails to meet specific criteria for identification, prioritization and review.
